Product Details
A fabulous old castle in the heart of Alsace, dating from the 9th Century. It has had a long and colourful history, playing host to Popes and nobility for hundreds of years. It has been in the hands of the current owners since 1854. The wines are no less colourful, Hubert Hartman strictly applies low yields to guarantee exceptional aromatic concentration as well as impressive longevity. The vineyards are spread over seven different communes and total an impressive 20 hectares, (20% of which are Grand Cru sites).
