Product Details
At over 200 metres in altitude this is one of the highest estates in the Minervois. The 25 hectares of vineyards are on a stony/limestone/ clay soil in the hills above the village La Livinière, arguably one of the best sites in the entire Minervois area. This provides wines that Parker has described as having “… dense, chewy, expansive, fleshy flavours…but loaded with character”. He goes on to say the finish is “long and lusty … a decadent style of Minervois”.
 
Pebbled top soil, with a high percentage of clay and limestone, rich in manganese. Exceptional “terroir” due to the nature of its soils and its exposure (terraced vineyard at 200m in altitude, facing south and sheltered from northwinds).
 
Grape varieties : 55% Syrah, 30% Grenache, 15% Carignan
