Product Details
El Coto de Rioja vinified its first grapes in 1970, and this vintage was released in 1975. Our 'bodega' covered 11.000 m2 at that time. Given our wines' initial success, already two years later we decided to double our winemaking capacity.El Coto de Rioja increasingly developed in the spanish market, and also the export markets started to become interested in our wines. As a result, new vinification equipment and more oak casks were installed. Bodegas El Coto are regarded as one of the best producers in the region.
