In the heart of the German Wine Route, surrounded by lush vineyards with the best vineyards in the Palatinate, lies the idyllic and historic wine village of Forst. Where annually ripe almonds, figs and lemons, the vines must find favorable growth conditions. This is already recognized 2000 years ago, the Romans, when they brought the vine to the present Palatinate. Our soils reach the highest credit classes in Germany. Weathered basalt from Pechstein, an extinct volcano gives the wines a fine fruit and a distinctive and unique flavor. Since the company reputation (founded in 1918) is paramount for us to create wines of special quality. Numerous awards at state and federal level are evidence of our efforts.
