Second label from Mas de Daumas Gassac was launched in 1991 coming under the name of Moulin de Gassac wines. Fiercely opposed to a policy of digging out vines from local hillsides, the Guibert family came to a very precise agreement first with the Cave de Villeveyrac, then with the one at Paulhan, that they would produce true Languedoc wines. As with its mother vineyard the use of modern cemical products are forbidden on the vineyard.

Grape varieties : A blend of typical Languedoc grapes : Syrah (30%), Grenache (30%), Carignan (25%), Cinsault (15%) – 25 year old vines.

Deep, brilliant red colour. Vinous, complex aromas, with hints of red berries (cherry, blackberry, and strawberry) and spice. Opens soft and fruity with gentle tannins. Delicate and sophisticated. Long and smooth; a touch rustic reflecting its terroir.
