Intense spicy blackberries and subtle vanillan oak complexes with a heavy earthy aroma. The palate is big, with strong upfront fruits, generous mid palate and silky, dusty oak finishes. These attributes are the hallmarks of a great Barossa Shiraz. The long aging in oak imparts soft, silky tannins and a firm structured finish.

The Haan philosophy of providing the best possible conditions in both the vineyard and winery has produced yet another wine of distinction and excellence. Shiraz is the king of Barossa reds, and only grapes from the Hanenhof Vineyard have been used in the making of this traditional style.

To fully appreciate this wine, we recommend that it be decanted 3 to 4 hours before serving.
