Germany’s second largest Estate, founded in 1128. Using the very elegant burgundy style bottle instead of Franconia’s traditional Bocksbeutel is certainly a drastic departure from tradition. A cuvee of fine Franconian grape varieties– Kerner, Muller-Thurgau and Scheurebe is used to create a dry wine with remarkably well balanced acidity and a surprisingly firm structure.
