Product Details
Micheal Collins family hails from Cork. They went to the west coast of the US in the late 1800s. The vineyard was originally planted in 1910. The vines are head pruned, mostly un-irrigated and low-cropped. Each year they use 35% new oak consisting of 60% French new Oak and the remainder in Hungarian oak. The wine is barrel aged for one year and then bottle aged for several months to a year prior to release.
