Product Details
Paul Mas Merlot is made at the Caude Val winery from grapes partly the Pezenas and Minervois region with a small percentage from Limoux vineyards. Caude Val started to be famous for its sparkling white wines back in the XIV century thanks to the production of the oldest sparkling wine in the world: the “Blanquette de Limoux”. Since then the still white wines have also acquired a solid reputation. The quality of the wines comes from its “Terroir”: soils are mainly made of limestone and the climate while being Mediterranean enjoys Continental and Atlantic influence because of the altitude and its location.
