Pfeiffer wines is a family owned and operated winery, located within historic Rutherglen - a region with a rich wine heritage, spanning over 140 years. Our historic winery cellars, and our century old Sunday Creek bridge are situated in an idyllic setting on the banks of Sunday Creek, an anabranch of the mighty Murray River.

Grape Varieties : 80% Chardonnay 20% Marsanne
 
A screw cap has been used on our 2008 Pfeiffer Carlyle Chardonnay Marsanne to maximise its flavour and freshness, and to eliminate the chances of cork taint.
 
Both the Chardonnay and Marsanne parcels received extended lees contact (batonagθ) for approximately six weeks. This built a creamy texture across the mid palate. 
 
Our Pfeiffer Carlyle 2008 Chardonnay Marsanne is an attractive, fresh, un-wooded white wine which combines the aromatics of Marsanne with the delicate peach and citrus flavours of Chardonnay
 
Very attractive when young, fresh and fruity, but could mature to 2015
