In the region of Mendoza, a passionate called “Sirilio Argüello” started developing oenology with the excitement from the belle époque, and the identity from a generation who lived one of the particular times in Argentina. He inspired a complete generation, and is the icon of an époque full o magic and pleasure for living.

The spirit that inspired that generation is still alive today in Les Yeux Wines, where we carefully nurture the skill of our winemakers and resort to state-of-the-art technology to highlight the authentic value of Argentinean wines, which are both unique and original. Since the last five years, based on the great diversity of wine Styles in Argentina depending on different tipicity of grapes in each area in the country, and the perfect adaptation of some varieties to each area, we decided to focus our work in discovering the best grapes in Argentina thus to integrate a superior supply of Argentinean wines. Here at Les Yeux Wines, we are always learning new things about wine. The first step in this project is to find the highest quality for our wines.

2003 was a wonderful vintage during which to make our first Syrah. We had ample warm weather with which to fully ripen this wine. It is a wonderful expression of concentrated ripe, dark cherry, currant, leather, fresh anise, and nutmeg. This fruit is enveloped in creamy vanilla and cedar chest flavors.
