Jean-Claude Mas has been working on the “Cuvée Secrete” wines for seven years. This Organic Cuvée comes from Merlot and Cabernet Franc grapes with low yields. It had no added sulphur and offers great richness with aromas of gooseberry, cassis, black cherry – a lovely wine from the Languedoc region which is the perfect match to grilled meat, pasta, chesses and fruit tarts.
Tasting notes Colour: Medium ruby. Nose: Intense with notes of ripe cherry, plum, cassis and hints of garrigue. Palate: Smooth and fruit-driven with intense Merlot based fruit flavours and spices. Cellar: Keep for 5 to 8 years. Food pairing: Best served at 16°C with grilled meat, pasta, cheeses.
