The wines from Jip Jip Rocks express full varietal flavours, take advantage of the Padthaway’s maritime climate with its long slow ripening season and unique soils. We use traditional winemaking methods, complemented by modern winemaking technology with minimal processing to ensure the purity, integrity, texture and flavour from our vineyard.Lifted spice and ripe mulberry/blackberry aromas are complimented with chocolate, cedar and cinnamon on the nose. Well integrated oak tannin provides flavours of clove and supple texture which supports the rich plum, blackberry and mocha. The overall structure is supple and generous with finegrained tannin on the finish enveloped with ripe fruit overtones.
