In Venegazzù di Volpago del Montello lies at the foot of the hills bearing the same name, at the heart of the Marca Trevigiana. The land produces excellent wine and the best one is along the river banks of Montello". The area has a clay heavy soil very rich in iron and mineral components. The farm was founded in the 1950's by Count Piero Loredan. In 1973 the farm became property of its present owner and director Mr Giancarlo Palla.
A straw yellow colour with light green glints. When poured, its perlage is persistent and it is accompanied by a effervescent froth. Marked and definite are hints of apple and yellow pulp peach together with a clear flavour of pineapple. The nose is characterised by a marked perfume of yellow flowers and of freshly cut hay. The taste is full, warm and fresh. Thanks to its freshness and structure this wine is an ideal drink with sea-fish, sauced horse d’oeuvre and aromatic first courses or soup.
