Teruzzi & Puthod was established in 1974 on the enchanting hills around San Gimignano with the mission to produce high-quality wines and to promote this unique territory with its rich heritage of history and winemaking culture. The estate covers a sizeable 180 hectares, 94 of which are vineyarded. 60 hectares are dedicated to Vernaccia, making Teruzzi&Puthod the privately owned estate with the largest cultivation of this renowned native grape variety.
Deep, lustrous ruby red with a good depth. Satisfyingly intense, long-lingering nose, the oak tones melding seamlessly with the fruit. Appealing yet self-assured, full-bodied palate with assertive, nicely gauged tannins and a lingering after-aroma.
Grapes: Sangiovese and Merlot
