Valdavia is a small family farm located in Cuñas, in the valley of Avia River, home of the best wines of Ribeiro. The history of the winery and the vineyard is closely linked to the Monastery of San Clodio, whose domain it originally belonged to, over than 800 years ago. There are just over 2 hectares of vineyard, surrounding the old cellar, which has been restored preserving original materials and architectural elements, and has all the necessary means for the production of quality wines in a perfect fusion of tradition and technology. Its wines, biodynamic production limited, are made from grapes from its vineyards, giving them personality, authenticity and exclusivity.
Grape Varieties: 70% Treixadura, 20% Albariño, 8% Godello, 2% Lado
Bright, straw yellow colour. A clean, intense nose with ripe fruit aroma (apple, quince, melon) and floral tinges and fresh herbs. Full-bodied with excellent fruit persistence (citrics).
