Founded 150 years ago, and taken over by Carl & Petra Ehrhard in 1998. Cultivation of the vineyards aimed at producing the ideal fruit for the wines. Vinification is focused on preserving the natural fruit of the Riesling in the wines. This is facilitated by natural and gentle fining and slow, cool fermentation. Riesling grapes are selectively hand-picked (no machine harvesting).
Pale yellow in colour, hints of green apple and
lemon on the nose. In the mouth, there is high
acidity but it is balanced alongside citrus fruit
